How much more can my body take?

Last night I was shaking with cold, my stomach hurt, my back, joints and neck were so stiff and painful and the glands in my neck were up...My immediate thought was that this was something to do with the miscarriage.  Had I contracted an infection?  I felt incredibly unwell even after paracetamol, a hot water bottle and plenty of blankets.  I called my GP this morning who, as always, was just so kind.  She thinks that I have a virus which is separate from the miscarriage.  Great timing.
